Forty countries can’t have it wrong.  North Davis Elementary will once again join this great international push to get our kids to walk or bike to school on October 7, 2015.  We have a tradition of excellence in getting our kids active and aware, let’s keep it up!  On October 7, 2015 get your kids out of your car and let them walk or bike to school.  Can’t walk or bike?  No problem.  We will have a parent coordinator ready to accompany your child safely to school from the Davis Arts Center.  Connect with the coordinator carrying balloons near the entrance to the Davis Arts Center.  This group will leave promptly at 8:10 am to get your child to school safely.  Want your child to bike to school but you can’t be with her/him?  Contact us and we can try to arrange a parent to bike them safely to school.  Once at school, students will be greeted with generously provided S’mores Bars from Clif (supporting this international celebration).  As well, we will have music, Barbara Archer from the school board, and drawings for wonderful prizes.
Questions?  Contact Michelle Maranta, Karen Fee, or Michelle Livingston.  Let’s make North Davis proud and continue our tradition of being the best active school in the best biking city!
